Good for you! GPW is not that common. Nice. You are welcome to post in Vintage. You are what we call a preVint.

I believe I joined this vintage group a number of years ago, but, if not, here is my info. I am 69 years old, have an '01 NFR 2001 with 34K original miles, live year-round in Durango, CO ( used to live in Okla. City -- but got tired of the tornados and 117 degree summer heat). My wife and I are both retirees. Our names are Richard and Carol. Info on my other cars is in my signature.
Thanks

Welcome or welcome again Richard and Carol. Chris and I spend a great deal of time at our place near Ignacio. We are having a mini meet for Vintage members there in September (see meetings thread). I could PM you our contact information. I hope to have a chance to meet you!

Yes, I read about the CO mini-meet, and responded to the affirmative on that thread. But you could PM me some info on that event, sounds good -- and right here, too! Or you could email me at richruth@aol.com. Going up to Crested Butte for a long weekend now.

I'm back!
[others: Who the...?]
I was a member once, though I can't find any evidence of that here in the forum. (Does the search function cut off at 2011?) I was the (vintage — I'm mid-40s) owner of a suzuka blue '02, which unfortunately had a rough 2011: First it had its seats stolen, then, within a couple weeks after I got it back with its new seats and top, it was stolen and stripped. RIP, dear S.
But I have finally replaced that dearly departed car with its identical twin (or ghost). As of next Wednesday when I pick it up, I will once again be the (still vintage) owner of a suzuka blue '02.
The similarities are actually a bit eerie. Besides year and color, they were first registered within a few days of each other, and the mileage on the new one is within about a hundred miles of what my first had when I purchased it (in '05). But this one will live with me at my new home in New Hampshire while the last was in DFW, then Austin, then Chicago. (Fie on Chicago and its auto theft problem!)
Hello (again), everyone.
