1st car: 1953 Chevy cvt, had a 1987 RX-7 turbo coupe - very fun car, but top didn't go down.
I've had the S one month, wanted one for 10 years. Debby and I are loving it.
Thanks for the very timely welcome. I thought the S2000 was fantastic back in 2000. I was living in California and a colleague with a Berlina AP1 and I used to go roaring through the canyons behind Santa Barbara. Being a practical fellow I settled for (and enjoyed) an Eclipse Spyder convertible V6 5 speed for 10 years. Still have it. At 70 I decided to wait no more. Took a year to find the right car, right price and it was worth the wait. I will drive this car as long as I can. Best surprise was Debby loves it too and turns out she has a bit of a lead foot. Only downside is the dogs won't get to go topdown after I sell the Eclipse.

This is the first forum I have belonged to and have both enjoyed thus far and found answers to some questions my car's previous owner couldn't answer. Looking forward to further news, etc.

Watching Top Gear (BBCA channel) last night. Questions was "Should Blokes drive convertibles or are they (convertibles) too girlie?" I say they should, at every opportunity.

You might want to join us (Ohio, Kentucky, & Indiana people) at Brown County Run this September 29. We have a good time and the area is great place to visit.

It does sound like fun. We have been in that area for the Beanblossom Bluegrass festival. I will look for event posts. Thanks, Tony

Hi gang. My name is Dale and my wife is Julie. We live in South Florida on the East Coast. Shortly after my 55th birthday last month we bought a 2008 S2000 CR. The color is ABP and it has 7,500 miles. Our twins are now 25 and we haven't had a sports car since we got rid of our 1983 280ZX when they were born. We are once again enjoying driving around with the top off.

Nice car!
Thanks!

I'm looking forward to a bit more mature discussion here.

I bought the car in May with 5,800 miles on it. I've put about 2,500 on her thus far and really enjoy driving "Jessica".

She was named after Jessica Rabbit, another famous redhead......

"I'm not bad I'm just drawn that way"

cheers all,

Chris

Hi gang
My name is Bill from Easton, PA which is ~ 70 miles north of Philly, right on the Delaware river. I'm "only" 37, so I guess I'm still at the kids table. I just got married a month ago to a lovely young lady named Stephanie.

My car is an '05 NFR that I bought in '09 as a Xmas gift to myself. 40,000 miles later, I'm still driving the snot out of it. I have a few mods, intake, exhaust, eibach sway bars, hp+ pads, and tune on AFC comes next year. I'm hoping to get back on the track again next year. I've contacted Bertyl Roos about their "BYO" car driving school program at Pocono. I hope to squeeze in a couple HPDE or autoX too. Gotta get in the action before the kids start piling up
