Hi gang, my name is Bob. I live near New Castle,PA (50 miles north of Pittsburgh & 20 miles east of Youngstown,OH). I think it's time to officially become a member of your Vintage Forum, since I've been lurking on your threads for a while now. I attended the Tomcatt Meet last June along with Sam, Maury & others from the Allegheny Club. I really enjoyed the drive, also met some great people with whom I felt at ease & welcomed.
I definately qualify age wise, born in 1958---no need to do that math . In Sept. of 2009, my wife Pam & I defied our usual logic & bought a 2007 N.F. Red S2000 instead of adding an addition onto our house. Best move we have ever made!!! We couldn't pass up the deal, our baby only had 2900 miles on her & the dealer had it marked down to move before winter. I've added some mods to her with more to come. We average around 5-6k miles per year from April to mid Nov. We now spend more time together on our drives---put the top down & leave all the daily stress & responsibilities behind zipping down some winding country roads.
I look forward to being with those of you who I met last year & to meeting more of you at SF12 & this years Tomcatt!

Thanks for the warm welcome. Got home last night to a temp of 15C (59F) and decided it was a perfect opportunity to take my wife (Sandra) and two boys out for a few top down spins in the new ride. Other than cringing at the sound of the residual sand and gravel under my tires, it was a great reminder of why I bought this car. Every family member had a big grin after the ride. Looking forward to more opportunities to do the same - and taking the car on blasts through the mountains.
