Hi all, I'm Marc!
It's been one year ... one month ... and nine days .... I am old! (07.07.1966)
There's life in the old boy yet - I'm convinced of it!

I hadn't checked my PMs, so from your post I wasn't sure you were up for a badge. There are lots of S2ki pond crossings, so who knows, maybe we'll have a mug or a pint together somewhere sometime. Vintage is a great group of folks, so we hope you will post often.

I wish my hair was still as blond as it was then.
Somewhere along the way it turned brown...

Well, there is certainly something you can do about that!

Hello fellow vintage members, my name is Terry. I've got a brand new 2007 Laguna Pearl blue, and just finished the break-n period. Former '99 Boxster,
'95 del Sol, BMW 3, MBZ, and many Acura's, Honda's, and Toyotas. I was torn between a new Cayman, an Elise, used NSX or the S2K. While I love the Cayman, I was pissedat Porsche with poor quality, cost of maintenance, and low inventory/high prices. NSX pickings are pretty slim, and have been watching for 2 years. The Elise, while I enjoyed driving it, is just not suitable as a daily driver for this vintage driver. The S2K was the best for reliability and hassle free daily driver
usage - so that's what I have now. My two go-to marques are BMW or Honda,
and the BMW roadsters are awful. My wife's del Sol, while a performance dog, has been our most reliable sports car - and with a trunk that's about 3X the size of the S2000 - so the wife loves Honda.
I have two children, aged 25 and 21. I love taking them out cruising in
the roadster and blasting classical music top down, which totally embarrasses them. I'm happy to have some hair to mess up.

Welcome, Terry! We'll be looking out for your posts. Are you going to be in Torrance? Like you, I have less than 1000 miles on my 07 S. But it's yellow -- a faster color than all the others!
