Not a very good pic but interesting. Yesterday all the storms went south and across the river so we did not get a drop of rain. Did get a bit of double rainbow. Also note the teeny plane.

Oops...Tropical Storm Isaias looks like it is going straight up the East Coast later this week/early next week. Pretty high winds of 70 mph and plenty of rain I am sure. Ugh...

Well now a windy storm could make interesting.
We have a broken tree waning over our common driveway.
a careful observer will note the power lines running under the tree.
The utility is aware but have to bring in a crane to remove it.

Thankfully the other healthier tree has it for the moment but a good strong windy day.... could be interesting.
So If I disappear for a while. I'm probably just without power.

Seems to be getting awfully close to the power lines. When is the utility planning to get there?

Looks like you could be getting some possible tropical force winds around Tuesday:

that would be a shrug gene,
Crane will be later this week Or early next week.
according to a neighbor they came and looked at the tree abut had to schedule the equipment.
they felt confident the other tree would hold it up.
technically that's not my property so...

^^ Beautiful pis, Deb. On another note, I'm watching Isaias as it plows on up the east coast. It is not something I'm happy about.

I am sure you are not. Looks not great at this point. Maybe it will go farther out to sea. My sis in Melbourne is not happy, either.

We have had Asplund trimming trees in our area over the last week or so to help with power outages maybe they will do the same there.
