My sister and her husband checked into a hotel in Dallas due to power outage. He has to have reliable internet connection for his work. When power was out, she said temperature in her place was around 48F. That is way too cold. I hope this thing blows over soon. It is headed our way in Mid Atlantic.

The plumbers in Texas are going to be busy! Frozen pipes galore. Plus how many people now a days keep much money around to be able to buy anything at the store. No power=no credit cards!

I had assumed it was the distribution grid that had failed in Texas but it was the massive failure on the generation side.

2-17-2021. I was getting cabin fever so I took a 5 mile-long walk while it snowed, yesterday. I always take a picture of Buckhorn Creek and this little footbridge for the seasonal contrasts.

^2-18-2021. I got 4-7 inches of snow last night while I started binge watching the Netflix Series "Unorthodox". The snow would have been more fun to watch.
