Woke up to another 3-4" over night. Not even a thought of taking out the shovel or little snowblower here all day for me. At some point, before Saturday, it will have to get addressed or we won't be able to leave.

Just had several 10-12 hour days at work recently. Did have a night break over the weekend with some ATV rentals, then a horse drawn sleigh ride.

Showing some snow the next few days...maybe 6" total. Not sure it will amount to much, like last time. TBD...

That's pretty cold, we're hovering between -5 and -10 , when it gets colder than -10 I really dislike it.

As a person who never got to enjoy / suffer / live through, the challenges of a REAL winter, l love it. Maybe I'll be like Lainey one day and run back to southern California but I'm so happy with seasons here in Loveland, CO. Here is one new reason. I had to try out the new Kirkland K-Vine wine. If you are a Costco person you might have seen it in their magazine. This is the first one they've got out in my Timnath, CO Costco, and they're supposed to come out with a cab soon. They did a deal with a guy who designs it. In any case I put it in the fridge and it wasn't cold enough so, hell, why not put it outside where it's 18°. That'll help.

Oh, and BTW, I like it a lot.

You know what else freezing weather is good for? Cleaning and thawing out a freezer. A couple days ago Donna took everything out of the freezer and put it on the back porch while she defrosted it and cleaned it. This annual process must work as we bought that freezer in 1983.

Cleared the driveway yesterday so I could make a trip to get some more firewood for our last few nights.

Woke up this morning, another 2" on the ground this morning.
