Was cold and windy here today. Not warming up anytime real soon. Will be in the 30s until middle of next week. And I am seeing maybe 8" of snow Sun and Mon. We have barely had any so far this winter.

It's 43F in Houston this morning. Headed up to 62 with sunshine forecasted. 24F and sunny in Durango. I will have to get my drive road plowed up to the cabin next week!

Think this is the coldest day we have had so far...right now it is 26 but with the wind feels like 11.

Here too. We are at 12, feels like -5. Miserable weather, as far as I'm concerned. Won't be this bad for long. Still cold next week, maybe a storm. Not much happening today as far as going outdoors......birds have plenty of food, heated bird bath doing it's thing so they have water. I tossed peanuts and more seed out the window for the ground feeders. I have an appointment later this AM, thank goodness for auto start!

On the brisk side last night, got to 5°F last night. 10° at the moment.
We added a whizbang electronic oil gauge.
our oil consumption went from a gallon or two a day to 7.5 gallons overnight.
I think I liked not knowing better.
