Got some more snow overnight. Hard to tell how much as the wind is whipping it around like crazy. We have had a definate increase in wind storms the last couple of years.

I saw that VT was the hardest hit in this storm.

Yes the wind is crazy. Power went out yesterday morning and then again this morning. I heard a transformer blow this morning. With all the people around now I'm sure the power company gets mobbed with calls. Didn't venture out yesterday but saw on 'THE FACEBOOK' that there were cars off the road all over the place and that they kept having to close the roads down.

We've been lucky with the winter weather so far. We had the nasty rainy day Saturday. We had winds yesterday. Today, temps in lower 40's but still a bit of wind. Cooler than I like, but it's not below freezing with snow, so I'll be happy about what we've got. We took a ride this afternoon to a few places on the ocean looking for critters and winter ducks. No luck. However the sun was shining, the areas pretty, so it was a good way to spend some time.

It's OK, I'm feeling warm all over today, even with BIG FAT snowflakes coming down. The snowflakes is not a political reference, it really is snowing here! It wasn't predicted. Right now it's the pretty snow, just a little coverage on trees and grass.

It's been in the teens here and we have been getting a few inches of new snow each day so it's not too bad. I've been working inside instead of outside like I usually do and gotta say it has it's merits. I've only had to wear my boots once this year. Life in sneakers is good.
