Ours has been quite calm lately. Mostly in the 40s.

8F in Durango, Colorado. It snowed a few inches a couple of nights ago. My roadway up to the cabin is still very slick.

Yup it has been a mild winter thus far. They say the polar vortex is making it's move though, I really hate when that happens.

Originally we were supposed to get 6 inches from this Friday night into Sat. storm but woke up to over a foot of heavy wet snow. They changed the forecast 2 hours ago now they are saying 1 to 2 feet in higher elevations and 1 to 3 inches in lower elevations. Power went out this morning but came back on in about 3 or so hours. That's one advantage to having a lot of people in residence.

It's hard to say as this type of storm is temperature dependant with elevation of course being a factor. It is supposed to switch over to rain and then turn to sleet/ice and then snow again. We are in a lull right now but another 6+ inches wouldn't surprise me. Luckily I don't have to be anywhere today. They just plowed our 'dooryard' so I'm just going to go out and clean off the car and shovel a bit by my front door and my landlord's door.
