Wish I could switch weather with you all who are getting the heat. I was getting used to the heat here and rain is no fun.

No tornados, just a few wind gusts and a few very intense downpours.

Meanwhile, we got a break from the rain today, but sadly it's coming back tomorrow morning and we're under a 36 hour storm watch. My wife just asked me to dig a drain in front of some of the garages tonight since we're storing hay in them. It's 16:22 and the sun sets at 16:57 (shortest day of the year was 3 days ago). so I don't see that happening.

^6-23-2024. I had no idea it was 101 today/Sunday but I loved the low of 59! Very low humidity allows for extreme temperature changes.

87 feels like 102. No wonder my asthma is bothering me. Hiding out in the AC, hoping inhalers on hand will do the trick.

83° but it feels stink'n hot to me. Thanks to AC is ok inside but I'm tired of being inside. If I don't open any doors my garage is pretty cool but I need an energy drink to do anything. So a rum & coke will have to do.

I agree. We hide inside too much in the winter, I am not a fan of hiding inside in the summer. I just took a ride to drop something off to my grandson and, because I'm such a wonderful grandma ,also brought him a strawberry cheesecake frappe, his favorite treat from the creamery nearby.

Not sure what to do next.....
