6-17-2024. Temperatures in Lake Forest, California.

^6-17-2024. Temperatures in Loveland, Colorado

I was in California for 7 days. It was cooler than Loveland.

6-17-2024. That's low pressure! I think it's the highest level of water I've seen in this barometer, here in Loveland.

Highest I saw today was 96 in the car. I don’t have a/c in my house but it is very well insulated so my move is at night I open the windows up and cool off the house and then in the morning close everything up and it stays cool…until the 2 nd or 3rd day of hazy, hot, humid.

Not even a window AC? We put in central air about 25 years ago. Some of the best money we have spent on the house, especially with the changes in weather and things heating up.....

yeah I just can't sleep in hot humid conditions, not possible. I don't care for super cold a/c use, I keep the temp a bit elevated, just 77 degrees is fine by me, as long as the humidity is taken away. One year in Antigua our a/c broke down and the ceiling fan broke in the room and I could not sleep a minute it was torture until they could move us to a proper room with a/c lol.

The older I get the less heat I can deal with. House is set around 74-75 and even lower to sleep. We live in a very humid area. Right now feels like 86 degrees with 69% humidity.

My windows are all 30 by 14 so a standard a/c unit wouldn’t fit. I could rig something up or get a non window one but it really doesn’t bother me but then again I may feel differently in a few days. I hate running the A/C in both cars don’t like the way it affects the drive ability most people don’t seem to notice it but I have in every car I have driven with the A/C going.

We got up to 93.6°F today, it's still 76° ( or 26C) tomorrow and Thursday will be nibbling at 100°F or 38°C

but thank god we don't have anything like the heatwave being report in the UK where high temps are 26°C

at those temps, my wife opens the windows and says " oh it's beautiful out there, let's open all the windows!"

Walked to the market early but hot already. Heat index today up to 108F. Ugh…tomorrow about the same.
