I often joke about changing my blood in the fall in spring to get ready for the next season.
I guess it's that time again. it's only 75°F and I'm already dying of sweat while working in the garage.

I live just east of Kansas City, so expect plenty of fun weather. It has been very interesting recently. TONS of rain. A lot of the big storms tend to split and go around us but we had some pretty good ones last night up until about 12:30am. I grew up in NE OK so am pretty used to it but last nights were big enough to sit up and keep an eye on. Possible funnel cloud was spotted about 5 miles NW of our place and then they were watching some pretty heavy rotation about 5 miles SE of our place. But ended up just being high winds, very heavy rain and some really good thunder and lightning shows going on. Joplin, MO had damage, not sure if tornados confirmed but some pretty heavy damage from winds at least. Supposed to be quiet for a bit here they are saying.

Nasty storms n the Midwest. I feel so bad for the folks that lost everything from tornados. We have crappy weather headed our way. Im afraid these storms are going to be the normal in the future and are only going to get worse.

We had the best weather one can have in New England in the month of May..............for today. Now nice weather is gone away until next Monday. Hopefully, we are not headed into the rain every weekend pattern we had last summer.

We were happy we could enjoy the day today and we did. Top down, some walking on a lovely property, some photo ops, and a stop at a beach on the way home, where the piping plovers were waiting for me.

We are under a tornado watch until 1 am.

Tornado sirens are going off.

We also got alerts on our iPhones.
