Just over 6". We didn't get the fluffy stuff like Jerry/Bolton probably did.

Will you clear your snow, Sue or do you have someone that will take care of it for you? I am not a fan of winter or snow.

I'm definitely not a fan of winter, snow, or cold either, Lainey!

I have been doing most of the clearing of snow myself for many years, ever since Dennis' heart attack in year 2003. He has done a little bit since then, but most of it I have done myself.

Last year we had a very mild winter, and I never used the snow shovels even one time last year. In fact, I didn't even bring them up from the basement at all last year. I haven't brought them up from the basement yet this year. In fact, the rakes are still outside. Guess I won't be needing the rakes anymore this season.

I think that we probably don't get as much snow as you do, but it is enough for me!

I didn't shovel today. There really wasn't enough to worry about. It seems that the snow melts off of our driveway very well. In fact, there is no snow in our driveway now at all.

And, we haven't even been going very many places since about March 2020.

Tonight is our garbage night, so very early today, I brought the one small garbage can to the curb. I did it very early, just in case the weather got worse and/or the driveway got slippery. I had started to wheel the great big recycle wheelie cart thing down to the curb, too, but then decided against it. That is all we would need...for me to slip on the driveway doing that and have both of us with broken bones! That can certainly wait another week since it is just papers, bottles, cans, etc, and it is nowhere full. I usually do most of the garbage, too, so that is nothing new to me. I have done most of that since 2014 when I retired, and Dennis was still working until May 2020.

Dennis might come home from the hospital tomorrow, but they are waiting to see how something is doing after they removed the chest tube today. They have to check something related to that tomorrow. So, I kind of think he won't be coming home until Saturday.

I screwed up and dropped the bike last week when i was bringing it to storage.
I crunched my ribs when I did it. I've now got back spasms to join it.

Today while I was out snow-blowing was the first day I seriously thought about selling the house, downsizing and retiring.

My weather report. It's cold, it's gray and I hate it. I just went out to tend to the bird feeders and even with gloves on my hands were cold in less than two minutes. Official winter hasn't started, and I'm so over it already. We had sun yesterday and will see the sun on Wednesday and temps will be warmer. I'm hanging on to that....... Sometimes I think my sisters that moved to SC had the right idea, until the summer comes along.....

Wow that was nuts! We ended up with over 3 feet and the real crazy thing is it came down in about 14 hours and nobody knew it was coming.
