You lucked out my friend, we got at least two feet at my house. 2 towns over from me got 28 inches. They just plowed out my dooryard for the 3 rd time in less than 24 hours. Can’t say I miss doing snow removal.

Yesterday was a yucky day. we got a 1/2" of light snow overnight followed by sleet and freezing rain all day.
We were right on the freezing rain/rain line all day.,
I was starting to get concerned when it finally switched over to all rain.

Some of the local forecasters are saying that they believe that tornado alley is moving east into Indiana and Ohio. Interesting concept.

No rain for ages here, we drilled in new grass a bit over a week ago and the paddocks are like dust. I just got back from spending a bunch of money on irrigation gear so I can put some hydrants along the fences and run pod sprinklers in the paddocks. I fully expect us to be deluged by rain before I manage to actually get it all installed, at which point I'll kick myself for not getting around to extending the drainage yet.

Farming: Always the wrong thing at the wrong time.

....I'm not complaining other than there is a fresh layer of salt/sand on the roads again....should be 50's by Wed. here.

But big rain coming tomorrow! The one good thing is that it will wash all of the salt off the roads from this last snow storm!
