^ Lake effect snow in our area tonight too. Maybe just a few inches, not too much.

We got about an inch of rain last night but then it dried out and we stayed in the dry slot of the rotation.
No white stuff.

We got about 6 to eight inches of wet heavy stuff. Power went out between about one and five this morning. Supposed to get a few more inches through tomorrow with high winds. Then temps into the 50’s later this week.

^ I always expect a couple good snow storms in the month of March, and sometimes in April some years. I hope we are near the end.

I expect about 5" or more of snow in March, in Colorado too but not this year. It's the warmest and driest winter for me since I moved here in September 2017. At least I've had the opportunity to drive my most fun car often, like today, when I visited my son, his wife and my two grandsons. I took 5 minutes off of the Google maps arrival time.

Nice you are able to drive your fun cars Patty. Even with all the rain and wet weather there is still salt all over our roads so my S still sleeps.

I wonder if we get the same weather patterns as you. Our winter this year is the same as you describe. I know many times through the season we get weather events called Colorado lows moving into our area, I never really looked into it but I always suspected they came from your region ?

About 1/16in of rain this morning. Not much but we'll take it, the ground is rock solid at the moment. I tried doing some fencing on Saturday but had to give up because the tractor couldn't get the posthole borer very far in the ground, and I was doing most of the work with a fencing spade. I filled a hole with water to try and soften it up a bit but when I checked it at 18:00 last night it was still there and had barely soaked in.

I don't have any idea. I am in CA and I was supposed to fly back to Denver on Thursday. I figured my flight will be cancelled since it's predicted to snow all day there on Thursday. I rebooked for Friday afternoon. I don't want to chance getting cancelled and then not being able to get a flight out. Unfortunately, that meant I had to tell SAINT that I can't drive for them Friday afternoon, which is my normal shift. I gave them three days notice. She acted like I was over reacting but it seems like Denver cancels flights often due to snow.
