In my part of the world once we make it past President’s week we start to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Clocks move ahead in the beginning of March which helps and generally any big snow we get in March and April doesn’t hang around as long as it does in early/mid winter. With that being said I never get too comfortable, last year we got 4 feet of snow in March and I have seen a few foot plus storms in April.

I find that February is our worst month most years in terms of outright cold temps and snow. January tends to have one week of a thaw period most years, we can always look forward to a January thaw which teases us, then February starts and hammers us back to reality.

pretty mild weather this week, very warm for February which is typically my least favourite month.

big storm moving east in the US, I think it may miss us or just send us rain. Some places further south and east are up for some winter fun

Guess we should have headed your way. About 50 degrees and more of the same gray skies we've seen so much of this winter. Rick got the cars washed anyway.

I saw a half dozen motorcycles while we were out at lunch.
I like the idea but I'm a wussy when it comes to sand on the roads.

We dropped from 60° to 36°, so reality is back. That's ok . . went from yard clean up back to oil painting.

It looks like our trip back to reality will involve up to a foot of snow.
I think they painted a bullseye on my roof
I added the red dot.
