It’s eight degrees here. We have a winter weather advisory from 1 a.m. to 10 p.m. tomorrow expecting 4-8 inches of snow tomorrow. We were supposed to do a job that was a distance away but we will see in the a.m.

It's -11 degrees F in Loveland, CO. I got an email saying my Torani caramel syrup is out for delivery. I wonder if the five bottles will freeze and break. I won't be home until tomorrow evening IF my plane leaves SNA on time.

What do you use this syrup for? To flavor coffee?

I believe they will be plastic. It's sold in glass and in plastic bottles but the ones I bought at Sam's Club were plastic.

Sue, I add a bit to my concoction of soda water and a little Tonic. I came up with that mixture to replace alcholic beverages.

We had our first major snow of this winter. We probably have between 3-5 inches of snow in Maryland. I shoveled snow for our sidewalk. You have to be careful when you are shoveling snow. Many people suffer heart attacks while shoveling snow.

My winter tires and rims get installed on Thursday this week, I can't wait, my vehicle's stability should increase by a huge amount. My hybrid had low friction tires for fuel economy, I am convinced they slide more than regular tires but that is just my perception.

We ended up with about 5 inches so far. It slowed down a bit so I went out and cleaned off the car. Waiting for the plow to come then I will move the car out of the dooryard.

1-16-2024. The high was 30 and the low was -12. That's warmer than it's been for five days.
