That is very cold Dave, we were about 10 F degrees here, cold enough for me.

The driving conditions in the last couple days got me to buy new winter tires for my SUV, the all seasons just don't cut it. New winter floor mats too.

I got up this morning and looked at my weather station monitor and saw that it was 33°F outside. I was confused as it was suppose to be really cold than it appeared that it was 3.3°F outside.

The Canadian prairies in Western Canada are seeing -45 degrees celsius temps (that is -49 degs F) . I could not imagine ever staying in a place that cold for more than a minute. I don't know how you even keep your home warm in those conditions, their homes are not built any different than ours. The coldest I have ever felt in my life was -30 degrees C, and I thought I was going to shatter into pieces that one evening when I was outdoors.

When I got up this morning we didn't have a temperature outside. The thermometer said it was 0°F!

We are now at 31, feels like 23. I braved the temps, bundled up and got a walk in. Not my usual thing in winter time, but I didn't go to the gym this morning.

My fuel economy has tanked this week, I remote start the vehicle every chance I get as the cold is just brutal. I wouldn't have it any other way as I need the heated seats and heated steering wheel and warm air as I enter the cabin with the windows fully defrosted. I'm doing my part to support global warming (just kidding ?)
