They don't do that on every storm, only in extreme seasons. I believe they haul the snow to the river in Montreal and dump it there.

It is snowing. Very strange to go from low 60s yesterday to this. Will be about an inch when done.

‘They’ went on and on and ON with flood warnings, high wind warnings and heavy snow warnings with a couple of inches of snow per hour and expected power outages Sunday into Monday and I woke up this morning to barely a light dusting.

Same here. No snow warning, but heavy rain/wind. It is windy, but not terrible. We did have some heavy rain, but not so much in our area. No power issues. I'm glad when the weather guys are wrong.

I just set up our new weather station.
This one has wifi so our weather can be online. setting up the wifi password was fun ( grumble grumble grumble )
it's not a touch panel display so it's over two clicks right, down one, enter up two right one, enter, over four up two set caps lock.
the stupid thing has a SUB port, why didn't they give a web ap to set it all up... grrr.

at some point I'll get clever and have live weather in the bottom of my entries

65 degrees and sunny. No wind. Beautiful fall leaves. Chilly 40 in the morning but it really has been gorgeous here.

We've had an unusual stretch of mild weather, not a single snow storm yet. That usually means January and February could be crazy , I expect a green Christmas but I will take that given how much I drive. We are still doing leaf clean up as it is so warm, normally by now they just leave whatever leaves are left on the ground until spring.

This is week 4 of predicted bad weather Sunday into Monday. Another flood watch with heavy rains and winds.
