We had perfect weather for an all British car & motorcycle meet today. Mid-70s and sunny; no humidity.

Temps have dropped a little here but humidity definitely has not. We are at 93% right now.

yesterday was day 4 of thunderstorms. Just to the west of me got a deluge 2.5 inches in an hour.
It was enough to flood rt 2 with 4 feet of water. Rt 2 is 4 lanes of divided highway ( 2 lanes west, 2 lanes east) built up median and so forth.
looks like more of the same for the next 3 days.

A slight update on my prior post, it wasn't so much of the 2.5 inches in an hour being the problem, it was the 9 inches in 12 hours that was the problem.
Throw in the fact that the area is very hilly and it makes for very fast-rising water.

Unreal. We had some rain, nothing like that!
If you got a boat, haul it!

Looks like a good thing that we cancelled our Canadian vacation. Lousy weather coming our way will head that way.

Currently 82F clear blue sky no breeze. Headed for the low 90's with rain in the afternoon maybe.

Still in Melbourne. Not a drop of rain since we arrived last Sat. Very hot sun with few clouds.

Tornado warnings in some areas of MA. Not too close to us. Lots of rain in some areas, again not too close to us. Maybe some storm related weather, Friday/Saturday, by Sunday looks pretty nice.

Will be glad to be home from a weather perspective. I had forgotten how hot and humid FL is. Like a jungle. Today in DC will be in the 70s.
