Heard from my Dad in Florida (east coast) he said it was a beautiful day where he is today no rain or wind. I was woken up by heavy downpours this morning and now we are having heavy winds so you just never know.

Daughter and grand daughters are enjoying a cool sunny day so far (schools are closed) .... south of Jacksonville. Kids thought it was a big deal when they found a leaf.

My grandkids in Charleston, SC didn't have school today or tomorrow. Not a snow day but a hurricane day!

We have a stretch of warm weather happening here. Supposed to be sunny everyday and reach the 80’s until Thursday, since this summer really stunk weather wise I’m going to enjoy it. Hope it doesn’t change.

^^^^ Have to agree Rob, we had a lousy summer here too. In fact the high temp here in all of August was 83....the coldest high temp for August since 1927!

^ We had a pretty hot summer over all, with many days in the 90's , today is in the 90s' too, quite hot. We had lots of rain this spring and summer, but still lots of hot weather. We are about 2 hours from Detroit in Ontario.

WOW, just had one of the more violent thunderstorms come through.
Almost continuous lightning and thunder. even that special kind where you see and hear it at the same time.
For about 10 minutes, strong wind gusts and heavy almost tropical downpours making it hard to see across the yard.
I don't think we got any hail thankfully.

Was supposed to be in Melbourne FL today but am now back home in DC. Waited for hours for my connection to take off in Charlotte and the flight was finally cancelled due to very bad weather in FL. So rather than stay in Charlotte flew home. Waiting on my bag to show up since I made the flight but it did not. Once it does, Vito is going with me, this time to Orlando and drive. Maybe tomorrow. Crazy day.
