Sounds like a tough day, Robb. Get more fluids and don't overdo it.

Pretty crazy here we are under a flood watch until Tuesday. Governor has declared a state of emergency. It is coming down very hard right now.

I want to know what your rain amount is or could be over 24 hours, and longer. Here (CO), if we get over an inch of rain in 24 hours it's considered a lot. In Loveland, CO we got over an inch on July 4th but less than 2 inches. It was all in the afternoon/evening and was considered a lot of rain for here. When I lived in So Cal there was a week in December 2010, when we got about 5 inches of rain a day, for a week. That was nuts! The hillside behind my house in the Trabuco Canyon zip code/Lake Forest City limits, slid.

Currently, in Loveland, CO, we've had thundershowers most afternoon/evenings. It's been wonderful for the few trees I have. But the weeds keep on growing! The good thing is that the ground is so damp that I am able to pull weeds out with my bare hands. I've done it for two months, now. I took my trash can down my long driveway to the street tonight and pulled weeds all the way back up. They come out so easily with the saturated soil. It's so nice to see it so green in July! I think tomorrow it will finally change to hot. My least favorite time of year but it doesn't last more than 4 months. The change in seasons is interesting at least. I love fall.

A bunch of roads in my town have been impacted. The road that runs parallel to mine is on the list of roads that is impacted on our police Facebook page. I haven’t heard any cars go by my house so figured something is up.
Patty they said they were expecting 2 to 5 inches of rain Sunday through Monday and then another bought of heavy rain Monday into Tuesday but didn’t say how much with that.
