Joey, I stumbled onto this video I had never seen before.

a prior warning it does discuss the deaths of several storm chasers but is not graphic relating to them.
It is rather geeky which I found fascinating and I actually learned a bunch.

^7-3-2023. Temps in Trabuco Canyon, CA. I like 66F but not 87% humidity. It will be in the 90s in Colorado when I get home today.

^7-3-2023. I love the bougainvillea.

^7-3-2023. The plumaria I have in pots are just starting to get leaves.

Mowed our long ditch and did some weed whacking. OMG. I'll take snow over high humidity any day!!! I don't know how you'all can live with it. Every few feet I had to keep wiping my eyes and now I am sucking down a Gatorade.

I agree! I unloaded 12-16" pavers and I am soaking wet. I hate the thought of having to lay those in the next few days.

Gent's be glad you can.
I did mow the lawn the other day. I am so glad I bought the lawn tractor.
There is no way I could do it with the walk behind right now.

I am revisiting the idea of a ride-on lawn tractor. Yours is a John Deere with a steering wheel?

We are having a wet spring and summer, it seems. The prediction is for thunderstorms today. It's getting darker out as the clouds get thicker. My son and his wife are having a gathering today. The pool party part may not happen.

Patty,
Cub Cadet XT2 54 inch lawn tractor. https://www.cubcadet.com/en_US/lawn-...AQA6TMA10.html

In retrospect I would have gone with a 48" deck since the 54 won't fit in my utility trailer. grr. cuz you know stupid. this means I need to schedule and pay for pickups.
I like all of the parts used in the mower, Kohler engine and driveline aren't cub cadet so I will be able to get replacement parts for a long time.
I'm less enthusiastic about the cub cadet parts. For some strange reason that I just can't understand, the front end alignment has gotten knocked out of whack twice.
I do abuse it a little. We trailer the leaf blower and basket around the yard a lot.
