Patty,spray the shovel with WD-40.
Yup that is what I use also used to spray my snowblower chute and auger area down with it.
I have a friend who is a real old school Vermonter and he puts wax on his shovel and then puts it in the oven.

Our weather going downward.....rain tomorrow, cooler temps.
I got a walk in this afternoon. Lower 40's cloudy, but no wind. If I walk tomorrow it's on the treadmill. I don't like the treadmill.....

Thank you Emil and Robb. I got more snow after I left the house today so I'll need to shovel again.

It is going to be in upper 70s today here in Maryland. I heard it is going to break 150 year old record today. I think it is still winter in February in Northeast. Then the temperature will go back down in the weekend.

Confirmed EF2 Tornado near me Tuesday. It was actually about 2 miles from my office, but I was working from home that day. It's about 9 miles from the house as the crow flies. My friend lives in the next development over. There's trees down but no other apparent damage.

In the picture, the 3 red lines seem to be its path. I live at the "H" and work at the "O". One story: https://www.nj.com/weather/2023/02/t...ged-homes.html 60 houses/family displaced. Some of the pictures I've seen are insane. There are 2 courses at the County Golf Center there. One is closed indefinitely while they do repair work. The other is open still.

In July 2021, there was another one in the area, about a mile from my house.

We have warm SW breeze clear skies and it's 79 at 10am. Headed for 83. Has anyone looked at Jupiter & Venus next to the moon at sunset?
