10.5in fell in our largest city yesterday, with over 5in falling in 2 hours alone. Lots of flooding, including at our largest airport, which had to close to all flights. Wettest day on record.

We've had about 3in today, back to ponding kn the paddocks. This Summer sucks. Theory on the street is it could be due to the Tongan volcanic eruption last year interfering with Southern hemisphere weather patterns.

I ordered a snowblower yesterday. I am tried of going out every other day and shoveling the driveway. The HOA snow plowing contractor looks at snow in an interesting way. He only has to plow when there is 2" or more of new snow. If you we have 1-1/2" of snow fall every day he does not plow yet over 4 days it adds up to 6". The HOA is run by idiots the have signed that contract.

Definitely not smart. He will have a lot of fun trying to plow after the couple of inches of snow turns to ice.

generally the only reason I could ever see to be on an HOA board is self defense.
I wouldn't do well. I couldn't even wrestle the cats on our 5 member driveway for snow plowing.
One of the other neighbors had to translate Jerry for me.
I have a hard enough time working with smart people and forget working with idiots.

Not bad here today. Will be cold later in week. My sister from SC arrives tomorrow. She will be in for a surprise come Saturday when our high temp is expected to be about 16 degrees.

Crazy, crazy here. Last night going to work it was about 36 degrees when I left my house at 6p.m. then by about 8 p.m. it got close to 50 degrees. When I got home at about 1 a.m. it was over 40 degrees. It is going to get colder this week and I’m hoping it is a mistake but it says a high of 14 for Friday and a low of -18 which I hope is a mistake.
