Turned the heat on yesterday, also. It was only 52 here. And it appears no more 70s on the horizon.

My buddy in Billings Montana said they just got about 16 inches of snow there. No snow or ice here yet just rain and it is in the 40's.

I'd be happy if we don't see snow for another 6 or 7 weeks

A little bit weather related...

Patty, I read that there are some evacuations related to fires in Orange County. That isn’t near your home, is it?

I sure hope not.

Yes, it is near my home.

My house is south of it. The Santa Ana winds kicked up early this morning and the fire started somewhere after 6:00 a.m. I just read that its cause has been determined to have something to do with southern California Edison power. The winds are just crazy and I read that these were predicted to be the worst ever for Santa Ana winds. They woke me up early this morning. I was very happy to get on an airplane and leave there this afternoon! If the house burns there's nothing I can do about it. If I had to pick one I'd much rather have my Colorado house just because I like it here better.

^My house is in Lake Forest zone 5. My zip code is Trabuco Canyon but it's in the city of Lake Forest.

^Zone 5 has an evacuation warning but it is not evacuated.

^ 10-26-2020. The view from the airplane at about 1:30 p.m. after we took off from Orange County, California.

^10-26-2020. Potted plants blown over this morning in California. It's worse than that more regularly, in Loveland.

^10-26-2020. Back in my neighborhood, in Colorado.

^ My Pilot lied. It wasn't really two degrees, my home thermometer said it was nine degrees.

Oh Patty. I am glad that you are safely back in Colorado now. I hope your house in California will be safe, too.

2020 has been a lousy year for you.
