The big chill is supposed to be coming here tomorrow. Nothing like Patty's temps but windchills to about 9 degrees by Saturday morning. Actual temps in the 20s. Meanwhile I disconnected all my outside waterhoses and made sure they're empty. Just hoping the faucets don't freeze but made sure they're all in the off position. That's all I can do. No snow in our forecast.

Darlene, do you have shut off valves on the inside of the home where the outdoor faucets are located ? If so close them, and leave the outdoor faucet valve open. If not then just hope for the best.

How deep is it? I got 4.25 inches.

I used a broom, as it's dry, light and fluffy, to clear just enough deck to change the bird water and put seeds out. It's up to a whopping 1*F.

We didn't get any new snow yet, they are pushing back the snow all along the edge of the driveway farther into the yard from when we got 2 feet from last weeks storm. This storm we are only supposed to get about 6 inches but then we are getting very heavy rain all day Friday.

It's heated. See the cord? If that's what you meant.

Oh, and that black disc is a solar powered fountain. When the sun hits it water spurts out.

Yep, missed the cord. So it's kind of like a bird spa, eh?
