Freeze warning tonight. And so it begins. The next couple weeks are forecasted for being in 40s and 50s. Hope to sqeeze in at least one more top down drive before November.

It got into the 70's today with a bit of wind but not too bad. Took the S for a ride and decided to put the top down on the way back. Figured it may be the last time of the season.

Seeing a prediction for a dry, mild winter for much of the lower 48.

Very dense fog outside this AM. Can barely see the road down below and nothing beyond. Will lift sometime later this morning with a high of 79.

A little cold?? I'm not quite ready for that. Still can't get over the wild temp swings there. Fog stuck around for a long time today. Was about noon before any sun started coming through.

Yeah, it's a little extreme cold. I mean below freezing for 2 days? I'm currently in California and I'm flying home Monday, into that. It's interesting to pack when you're going to the 70s and then going back to sub-freezing. I brought my biggest baddest down coat that takes up quite a bit of space but at least it packs down.

^ Trabuco Canyon, California.

I hate hurricane season, but I love our long (if somewhat colorless) fall season.
