Wonderful weather all week. Hoping to take a day trip tomorrow with with buds. Cut the grass today and currently taking a break from trimming. Wow, we always have too too too much to trim. Neighbor gave me a new battery weed hacker. I like it better than my almost new gas powered Stil wacker which is too heavy any more for me to use.

Makes packing a little difficult. I'm not expecting to bring any "winter" clothes, hoping a collection of T-shirts, a few long sleeve, a fleece, windbreaker and rain jacket will hold me over. We're waiting to hear back from the tour company on the glacier landing. That's probably going to be a bit colder than the rest of the towns.
Hoping to see some pics Gary.

It's been very humid here so far this week. Worked for 6 hours today in a house with no a/c, think I shed a few lb's. Had a very strong downpour tonight. Supposed to be sunny tomorrow going to go out and run some errands in the S tomorrow.

Beautiful day today sunny with temps in the 80's. Did some running around in the S top down the whole time.

Weather here has been really boring for the last couple of weeks, and not in an sunshine-every-day kind of way. Every day has been mostly overcast with several showers or thunderstorms rolling through each day. And the forecast? At least another two weeks of more of the same. This satellite shot kind of says it all.

This is from a great web site called windy.com which allows you to display current and recent conditions with a number of different layers ranging from wind direction to air quality to lightning strikes.

At any rate, this weather is really getting in the way of my golf and is far from ideal for taking the Miata out of the garage.

We got slammed tonight with sudden high winds and heavy rain. 400k out of power in the state. Sadly a 14 yr old girl grabbed a downed wire thinking it was a burning stick and died in the Monroe area. Winds were as high as 70 mph in some areas of the state. We have branches down all over the yard but didn't loose any power (don't ask how). Neighbor had a huge 60 yr old tree come down, ripping the roots out of the ground.

I just went out to run some errands and the car temp. said 91. Glad to have a/c in both cars. The S has the best a/c of any car I have owned. Even after 19 years it still pumps out ice cold.
