Hunkering down with a tornado watch in our region, not a warning status yet, just a watch right now. We don't get many of these.

It’s getting pretty dark on this side of the lake but no tornado threat.

It's kind of odd, but our storm and your storm systems look pretty similar, but they are separated by a good distance. It looks to be a fast moving system. If it goes based upon the radar map projections both of us may just miss the stronger portions of the system, with the stronger parts being just north of you and I.

^ lets hope it keeps moving past both of us soon. We are still in a watch situation but things change quickly.

My wife has the tornado protection zone figured out in our home, it is under the stairs in the very lower basement level. She says there is just enough room for herself, our son, and the cat, she feels that I may not fit. I do have some racing helmets in the basement, so I can likely slap one of them on for protection if they plan to leave me exposed to the elements, lol.

The storms have passed us and have left some nice cloud formations.
