It's crazy. It's colling off a bit as clouds move in. Come on thunderstorms.

Stay hydrated Patty, that will suck you dry in hours.

High 70's low 80's here, little humidity. Really a perfect day. We went to a classic car show in Dedham, MA. A little warmer there. No clouds, not too much of a breeze, I started to melt. I just can't stand heat at all these days. I paid $8.00 for a large lemonade that wasn't all that tasty. We found some shade while I re-hydrated a bit. The car show was huge! If I hadn't stopped for a drink, would have had to bail.

Poor, Lainey. I like that you have better weather than I do, sometimes. I understand your dread of winter, now. I don't mind the snow and cold as much as the lack of living plants and flowers

I am sitting on my front patio all excited because it's cooled down to 83° and it was raining. Woo-hoo! Champagne is out with me. Come back to me, thunderstorms!

Oh, rain! We could use some rain!
I'll take our weather over many other areas of the US. Obviously, I don't care for the extremes. I could not live in SC where my sisters do. Too darn hot. I could not live where tornadoes are common, where earthquakes are common, and where hurricanes are frequent. I'll take my chances on the occasional hurricane and a nasty blizzard.

My favorite seasons are spring (if we get a nice one) and fall. LOVE the month of September around here.

We used to beat the heat by hitting the beach. No longer care to sit still and Rick has had multiple skin issues so sitting in the sun, not a great idea. We do get sun while out walking, or while in the car, but opt for shade this time of year, unlike the summers of the past.

Our heat and humidity is coming in. We may head to the far end of the Cape Cod canal later on. Pack some salads to eat while we are there. I just didn't want to be out in mid day heat/sun today, and actually today is one of the cooler days expected this week. It's only 80 with 50% humidity.

Slight issue with water here today. Flooding and slips over large parts of the country. Milking this morning was less than pleasant as we're having to do it by hand until I can get the milking shed finished - you can see the water starting to pool in the stock yard now.

I really need to get onto that drainage, but I'd rather not get the digger bogged.
