Patty, our news said the fires were out but they were standing by in case of flareups.

Never ending fires out West. Or earthquakes, mud slides and drought. Glad I don’t live there.

already up to 86° going to be hot again.

What happened to spring? you know those nice comfortable days in the high 70's low 80's with a gentle zephyr.
It seems we skipped those and have gone straight into the mid 90's.

A bit of rain, drizzle here in Newark, DE. Our "home base" for the last few days We enjoyed Downtown New Castle yesterday, had hoped for a bit of sunshine today. That's not to happen, but we have umbrellas. I made a reservation for late lunch and we will head out in a bit. At the rental doing some laundry right now. Headed to Chincoteague, VA tomorrow, weather looking better for the time we are there.

We are at 82° and its not even noon. We were in the high 80s the past couple days. What's unbelievable is it hit 97° in Traverse City (northern MI) this week.

I didn't want to run the air conditioner this soon but today was too hot , weird spring weather from freezing to hot very fast. We need some rain , it is a bit dry.
