Getting a little bit warmer here. It was still in the 40's when I left work last night and it was in the upper 50's today and overcast. Expecting rain the next few days and temps in the 40's and 50's.

Where the hell’s the sun?

Michigan has been gray for a long time this year. January only had 34 percent of total possible sunshine. February and March had 29 percent of total possible sunshine.

March had only five days with more than 50 percent sunshine.

Only one day was almost entirely sunny, and sunny enough to be called a sunny day.

Six days had no sunshine at all, and one other day just had a few minutes.

Oh, yuck! I've become quite annoyed with the wind in Colorado the past 5 days. I can take that more easily than clouds, though. Saturday should be calm.

It has been dreary and cool here, too. But next week appears to be finally warming up for good. Here is a pretty cool webcam that has been put atop the Netherlands Carillon. It is supposed to be for air quality, but it is a great view of the city, also.

It was in the 40s and windy on our walk to the farmers market. I wore my earmuffs.
