Crazy weather here in NZ right now. Middle of Summer and we were hitting 93 degrees by 09:45 this morning with barely a drop of rain for weeks. Meanwhile about 400 miles away they've had nearly 4 feet of rain in 3 days, roads and bridges are washed out, and towns are being evacuated.

We are having beautiful weather in Naples, Fl after escaping the blizzard at the beach in Delaware. So I took my first bicycle ride since arriving. I hit a curb and fell. Dislocated my
ring finger and can’t ride or play golf until it heals. Bummer.

Bike falls at our ages can do a lot of harm. Glad it was not any worse.

The deep freeze arrived last night. The snow/sleet that came down yesterday totally froze over. The guy I'm married to started my car (auto start) let it run a bit, went outside, scraped off the ice, etc, so it would be all set for me when I left for the Y. I was singing his praises to the ladies and one said she wished she "would have married a prince, instead of a frog."

The sun is out which is nice. A bit warmer tomorrow.

Dislocated fingers are annoying. The question is Ray, did you put it back into place or did the doctor?

I dislocated my pinky finger when I was about 11. Stuck my hand out to catch a ball and it hit it just so. It was out at about a 40 degree angle. A doc pulled it into place. It hurt!!!

Lots of people driving around without the proper tires. I went up to Stratton this afternoon and there was a GTI in the ditch perfectly parrallel to the access road. Not sure how the guy managed that but it was perfectly parked in the ditch.
Talked to him today and he said they left early because it was raining. Also, they were at Mt. Snow, not Killington, so they were pretty close to you, it appears.
