I think we're approaching a foot, but really really fine and blowing everywhere.
The GL is in my driveway but the snow doesn't come up to the rim.
twenty feet away it is almost up to the top of the rock wall which is knee high.
clean up should be fun tomorrow.

I just went back out to switch out a bird feeder, toss some seed and peanuts for the birds. I was up to my knees in snow, even in the area Rick had cleared. Granted my knees aren't too far off the ground, but snow was pretty deep. Still snowing sideways. Rick is starting his second pass at clearing snow.

18.8" of snow is the official total for our town. We've had storms with more snow, however 18+" of snow is more than i want to see This one was officially declared a blizzard. Got quite a bit of drifting this afternoon. Rick has more snow clearing to do tomorrow. The cars still need to be cleaned off. The plows finally came by. The bottom of the driveway will need to be cleared.

LOL...he likes his yard, his garden, the ability to wash/wax cars in a driveway.
I can't imagine sharing a wall, or dealing with condo boards, paying HOA fees, condo assessments, and the like. OR, living in the close quarters of senior housing. Guess I just hire a lot of people if needed.
Leaving MA for a couple of months sounds appealing, but we are creatures of habit, and not sure how we'd deal with a non routine in a warmer climate. Too much sitting around drinking, eating out, etc.....

Meanwhile in Lower Slower Delaware this is the scene at my sister's house.. She lives in Ocean View, a small town just inland from Bethany Beach and 30 minutes south of Ray. Ironically, there is no place in Ocean View where one can stand and view the ocean.

We got 15 inches at our beach home in Lewes with temps around 15. We left earlier for Naples, Fl to stay ahead of the storm. It is 30 here with high winds. Temps will reach 80 on Wed so we will put our winter clothes away and start wearing summer attire.

Glad you made it unscathed Ray

We didn't get much fresh snow but I'm sure Killington is going full bore at this point and has plenty on the trails. Used to be the beginning of the week was the best time to go skiing as most people leave on Sunday's , we used to call it the 'mass exodus', but things have changed and people aren't leaving but it should still be good.

Pictures after a blizzard aren't all that dramatic. You look at them and say, "Yep, that's snow, a lot of snow." But I know some of you like seeing snow pics. Here are a few. Re-sized for quicker uploading.
It has an "H" but it's not a Honda!
Heated bird bath in too deep for a good cleaning, splashed some water in.
Lilac tree
Back yard
Side yard
Snow clearing continues
Dogwood tree
End of street, plows did a good job
Yep, snow!
The homestead. Notice the path on the right. Rick clears a path in back yard to side yard so I can access bird feeders
Fun waiting to happen. P car under there
S 2000 wearing snow tires. It's in the neighbor's driveway while Rick finishes clearing. He also clears all the snow for the neighbor who is almost 89. It's cold out there, in the teens, but Rick was plenty warm. Ski pants keep him warm and dry.
