LOL...he likes his yard, his garden, the ability to wash/wax cars in a driveway.

I can't imagine sharing a wall, or dealing with condo boards, paying HOA fees, condo assessments, and the like. OR, living in the close quarters of senior housing. Guess I just hire a lot of people if needed.
Leaving MA for a couple of months sounds appealing, but we are creatures of habit, and not sure how we'd deal with a non routine in a warmer climate. Too much sitting around drinking, eating out, etc.....

Lainey, I think what robb probably meant was to hire someone to deal with the snow now, not move to old people housing now!

Could be Sue. Rick doesn't seem to mind snow removal at this point. He has proper clothing, a self propelled snow blower, etc. He goes out of his way to clear our neighbor's car, driveway and porch too.
He said the proper clothing made a big difference. Ski pants for the win! Staying dry and warm.

When I was a kid my friends and I would go around knocking on doors offering to shovel and I had customers that I would automatically shovel for every storm. Guess kids aren't doing that nowadays?

Different times now I guess. We would shovel and then go out for pizza and root beer and play pac man while we were waiting for the pizza.
