This is the part of the map that would have me worried.

As I recall from my youth in western NYS, you can get two or three inches but if its that fine stuff and the wind is really howling it can close a lot of roads.

If this pans out it may not be pretty. Our heating system has an outside vent which is not to be blocked. That concerns me with blowing drifting. But if electricity is out heat won't be running. We have a small generator.

I got 22" last March in Loveland, Colorado. It's about time you topped that my friend. BTW, photos (from inside) are a must share. I don't want you to miss your camera just because you can't get outside for days.

I won't say I am concerned, except about power. were it to drop out that would be annoying.
If the power drops out and the temps drop below zero, it gets mighty uncomfortable right quick.
Otherwise hunker down and watch it snow.
Patty 22" of Colorado snow puhleeaze. that's dry fluffy stuff. although the backside arctic air feed is going to keep this pretty fluffy.

as we get closer most of the forecasters seem to be bumping up there projections.

Pete Bouchard NBC10 Boston

Sweet Mother... Nature about to put on a clinic on how to make it snow. Worst of the this BLIZZARD will be Saturday from mid-morning through the evening. Very difficult travel, gusts to 60-70 along the coast. Flooding Saturday AM high tide. It's going to be a long ride.
And they are starting to use the B word.

Yes. Often heavy wet snow especially in my area near the coast
I still have the Jeep, Levi. Temps low of 8 degrees below freezing Sunday too

Oh Patty when we get heavy stuff you could pack that 22" down into just 1" or less. and sometimes we get a foot of that.
a single wide shovel full will weigh 30 or 40 pounds. Folks die shoveling that.

but on the amusing side...
Snowmageddon Confirmed. Cantore has mobilized. Repeat: Cantore has mobilized!

will we get the mythical thundersnow?
