^Glad you got home safely. Hopefully you didn't have any snow storm related delays at the airport.

Last night before the snow started I went out to our garage to swap the Toro zero turn mower with our old garden tractor that has a snow blade on it. As I only use it for plowing the battery was so dead that even after I jump started it with a battery pack and let it run for about fifteen minutes as soon as I disconnected the jumpers from it, it died. As we had about a foot of wet heavy snow my next door neighbor was kind enough to clear our driveway with his snow blower. As even his garden tractor could not push this wet/heavy snow.

Matt, We are very fortunate in that our Durango neighbor clears the sidewalk of our entire block on our side of the street with his Honda. I ordered a small rechargeable snow blower to clear the back porch and the walk ways in the back yard out to the garage and the trash barrels, but just found out the little blower is out of stock. So still looking…

I went to Lowes to buy a snow shovel. None left. That was a surprise as we have not had hardly any snow at all this winter.

Not really, people panic when snow is predicted. And, I bet there was no milk, bread etc at the grocery stores.

Old Man Winter is showing up this weekend. Overnight low, Monday night, is showing -4 in West Central Ohio!

I guess we are supposed to have winter in the Midwest…right?

We got a few inches overnight. Pretty looking for now. Light, fluffy stuff, about 15 minutes tops to do both cars and driveway.

Cindy is off to work, then headed to friends for the weekend, I've got a big dart tournament in Philly all weekend.

Yeah, not much here. Cold (29) and windy today, though. Winter has finally arrived.
