Denver is well equipped for snowy weather. I would be more concerned about the shortage of flight personnel due to Omicron.

I love Colorado any time of year. Remember, I lived in Denver and Boulder for many years until I finished at CU and moved to NY. I grew up as an avid skier and enjoyed the winter sports until I got smashed. And for you, college hockey is good there, too!! The University of Denver has always gotten many of its players - and coaches from Canada.

Hope you get to your CO home, Jim. I can't see me seeking out snowy weather, EVER! If I never saw a snowflake again, I'd be OK!
Our weather relatively warm, but I really, really would like some sun and blue skies. That may come on Monday, but with much cooler temps.

Not too bad today, upper 30's and the sun has popped out. Nice break for all the skiers/snowboarders up here who have been dealing with freezing rain this week.

Got down to freezing here last night. Two days of sunshine ahead, then clouds and rain all week starting Monday. We’ve had 24 inches so far since 10/1. Double last season grand total.

Weather here today in one word YUCK! It's raining, foggy and very dark, very ominous. O.K. guess it's more than one word.

^ Very surreal images today of snow-covered burned out homes being doused with water by fire crews in Colorado.

Our balmy days are soon to be over...about 65 today and 35 tomorrow. May get 3-6" of the white stuff starting late tonight. Foreseeable future looks much colder.

Concerned about nephew and family making it back from AZ on Tuesday. Between weather and all the craziness with airlines, could be dicey!
