This is the prediction for Loveland, Colorado. This is my fifth October there and my first experience of no October snow.

I've got my S pretty much ready for storage but am hoping to get some more driving in into November. As soon as they start dropping salt it's off the road.

Careful what you wish for Dean.
Back in the 1850's the pineapple express ran for three months and flooded the valley.

^^that was the Sacramento Valley, running a couple hundred miles north and south of Sacramento. Yeah, you're right, and the whole thing was a foot or two deep in water. The Napa Valley is maybe 5% of the square miles. Difference is that we have a river that flows right into the San Francisco Bay and the river has had major work to stop the annual flooding we had in Napa. Not that a few feet of rain wouldn't still overflow or flood large areas. Or cause some nasty mud slides where we've had fires.

We have left the sunshine and morning walks on the beach of SC and are headed home. In MD tonight and when we arrived, decided shorts and sandals were not going to be the evening attire. It's chilly. We don't expect to the sun in MA for about a week. Welcome home to us!

When we got home today the house was 59° inside.

I think we are considering packing back up and heading back south!

We're at 10.2 inches now for the last three days, still raining. I think we will equal our rainfall total for all 2020/2021 season of 12.4 before it's over!
