Temps in upper 80's all week.
I finally understand!

Yes, and I may use it more this winter than in the past, now that the freeloading pothead is out.

Good for you. A break from winter is not a bad thing in my book.

You and Rick could come stay when I'm there. Free spare room with a queen bed. Fly into SNA and get a rental car. Warm up in a Cali cuzzi with a view. Go to Laguna Beach, the prettiest one in Orange County, CA.

When I used a real camera I'd save everything by the month. Now that I use my cell phone all the time I only save the pictures I like on my external drive. I save them by the date and then some kind of description. I found these pictures by searching on Laguna Beach and spa.

I think you might be more cautious about COVID-19 than I am but maybe by next year you'll be okay with a flight to California. Winter is usually the best time in my opinion.

Both use 230v pumps.
with heat pumps and oil furnace for heat I'll need 20-30 kw.
Big motors are annoying, they can draw a staggering amount of current during start-up.
3-4x steady state load.
only way i would consider it would be to add 1,000 gallon propane tank. or use heating oil as diesel.
it just adds up to way too much money.

but my fantasy system would be a big Tesla powerwall system with diesel backup so most of the time the system would be quiet.

We did get our tree situation resolved on Saturday.

Cooler temps but stormy the next couple of days. Lots of rain. My nephew and his wife in Chicago survived the derecho, but a large part of a tree fell on and crushed some cars outside their apt, including one of theirs. So a new car is in the works.

Beautiful day today humidity is starting to come down a bit. I took a nice top down ride in the S this afternoon really enjoyed it.
