Yup, we're famous now, we had a tornado today. well a funnel cloud anyway. not sure if it actually touched down.
So EF less_than_nuttin.
actually not really complaining. I have too many cars outside of the garage.
Hail often comes with those tornados.

More than the ocean in a storm, I love a good thunder and lightning display. When we lived at 1500 foot elevation, we got some really great shows. One storm I thought our windows were literally going to be shaken out. (or in).

I love watching storms from the balcony (enclosed). Very cool to see them approaching or moving across the city/horizon. It can get a bit dicey when we have hurricane force winds and the windows shake. Fortunately that is not often.

I was probably 10 or so and we were staying up at Hampton Beach, NH.
There was a hurricane offshore. we were getting some light rain from the very outer bands but it was probably 150 miles offshore.
That didn't mean we weren't getting some surf though. Total wave height from top to bottom was probably 20 odd feet. Full Hawaii Five-o type stuff.
I also had no desire to go grab a surfboard either. These were big enough that a person would easily disappear in the pipe.
When they slammed on the beach you could feel it in your feet and the sound in your chest.
By no means terrifying, but you could still get the full power and majesty of Mother Nature.

And that folks was how Jerry started his first book.

It's been clear and in the high 80s to low 90s during the day and the high 50s at night. I got up early to ride before it gets up to 95*F today.
