We are getting hit with the second front tonight. There are already 220,000 without power in the state and its coming down in bucketloads right now - has been for at least and hour and likely two hours more with boomers every two minutes. Thankfully, the second front doesn't have the wind of the first but its really flooding places.

No outages for us but many around us are without power. More storms this morning and possibly more this afternoon. Heavy rain right now.

Good luck Dave this weather is nuts. We had very bad flooding two weeks ago but no wind. Hot and humid here now.

Take care, Dave! We've got heat and humidity, but being on the coast are spared the worse of it.

We have record heat and miserable humidity. Be safe Dave.

We have been lucky so far and only lost power for blip. Just enough to have to reset some clocks. Thankfully the A/C is on. We spent a couple hours cleaning up downed small branches; no big deal.

85 F at 4PM. Humidity is at 66%. All in all a very nice afternoon for mid August. We do get a shower almost every day, but really severe weather has been pretty rare.

All this and golf all winter. Yeah, I like it here on the Gulf Coast.
