So, on Thursday night, there was a Tornado watch in my area. It was raining and a bit windy. Cindy, as usual on Thursday goes to her friends since I normally go out to play darts. She leaves after work, so around 3 PM.

I call to order some dinner around 6 and I start getting some texts to see if I'm ok. Huh? What's up. That when I find out more info. Apparently, a farm stand pretty close got hit. Apparently, the Weather Channel had a reporter on some streets near my house, some of which were, and are still closed. It must have been worse than I knew.

Yesterday, we were driving up to Allentown PA to see friends and at the PA Turnpike entrance from Rt 1, the damage was obvious. Faulkner GM/Buick got hit, bad. Buildings half to the ground, debris all over. You can search for that, pics are pretty easy to find.

Today, I played golf. As the crow flies, the course is no more than 1.5 miles from my house, and about 1.5 miles from the farm stand.

There's some trees down and debris everywhere, including this:

As for golf, no one but Jerry probably cares. A decent 44/40 - played well.a handful of poor shots.

A kid spa!

Today turned out cool for August with a high of 80°. I doesn't smell smoky but there is a lot of smoke haze. The weatherbug.com website shows the air quality half was between fair and moderate. Not too bad.

Mornings are cool and calm at the moment. This photo doesn't really do justice to just how peaceful it was on Thursday morning, and yes it's in portrait, sue me.

Hey scoots, breaking 90 is always good, better than bogey golf.
On Friday night the wife and I shot a 37, 2 over for a net 31. granted it was a 2 person scramble but we did a perfect ham and eggs.
except for putting. should have been 3 or 4 lower.

We have been having gorgeous weather...cooler and breezy. That will end on Sun when we go back to a week of 90+. Ugh...

It's been nice here so far this week despite it getting hot. Took the S to work the last 2 nights it's great to finally get some top down driving in especially coming home at one in the morning with almost no traffic.
Supposed to get really hot and humid tomorrow with a heat index of 104.

It's 6PM and pitch black outside. I have a feeling we're in for some decent wind and rain in a few moments. Just in time to start the grill for dinner!

The Marines are supposed to have their Sunset Parade across the road at Iwo Jima at 7. May not happen. So waterlogged even if the rain stops.
