What a frustrating day. We have been under a severe weather watch all day - tossing out alerts for high winds, hail, tornado, etc. We haven't even had any rain but it's now forecasted to be here at 8:30pm for maybe 1/2 hour. I cancelled my plans for the day and ended up cutting the grass. Hopefully it will all be gone by tomorrow so I can plan something better.

I need to go ride but I'm waiting for it to cool off more. I went to Cars and Coffee in Fort Collins, CO this morning and it was very nice. It's hazy now and I guess it's smoke from distant fires. It's down to 84 after a high of 89 and a low of 65.

Nice clear day today. Walked around Roger Williams Park in RI, very pretty. Not so nice tomorrow.

light rain, heavier rain on it's way, should make for an interesting sailing day.
Going out on schooner ride with that other car club. rain gear will be advisable.

Finally got some thunderstorms this evening with more tomorrow. Yay! I took off my glasses and scuffed the water barefoot in the driveway.
Come on.

It was like fall here today and luckily no rain. We are expecting more rain tomorrow into tomorrow night unfortunately. I was going to take the S to work tomorrow night but the road I take to come home was flooded after Thursday night's storm so I don't want to chance it. We had some roads that were completely washed away and I'm amazed at how quickly the road crews got them back in operating condition. Definate up to the road crews.

Patty that made me think of being a little kid. On a really hot day you'd get downpours and we'd go sit in the deep puddles which had been warmed by the hot pavement.
