Thanks for the replies. Great reading, as I so wanted to be there. Lets hope there will be another S2000 day at Beaver Run down the road.
Granny, I recall it like it was yesterday - my first ride in the passenger's seat at a track with a total stranger at the wheel.... showing me the fast line..... what a mix of emotions! I'm reminded of that whenever I take a buddy out.

We had a great time, in a safe and controlled environment to explore the limits of our driving ability and the cars ability. And I believe that many. like myself, regardless of previous experience came away with a whole new appreciation for the limits of this wonderful car.

Deb, you weren't the only one to hit a few corners in the parade laps.

Thanks for riding with me on Sunday. I spent the whole day on Monday trying to improve. I found myself getting better on some things and worse on others.
I really need to learn how to shift and how to brake better. I didn't expect these things to be the hardest part of driving the track for me, but they were. Steering, and sliding, and controlling the car were pretty natural. Slamming the brakes from 100MPH to hit a hairpin, and then trying to shift to 2 or 3... Now that's hard.
