Love to listen to Ken Burns commentary; Ken is excellent at delivering verbal content and direction. It was only after viewing “Lewis and Clark, The journey of the corps of discovery” and reading Lewis & Clark’s journals did I realize his embellishment of the facts. Has he done it before and will he do it again? I don’t know.

I only hope his Viet Nam presentation is more accurate and presents an unbiased and less exaggerated representation of the facts then his Lewis and Clark adventures.

Actually each episode is being repeated many times over the next two weeks. Go to PBS on the web and you can see the schedule.

Go to the first post with the link. When I do, it shows that every episode can be streamed on demand.

It's on Series Record on the DVR. Can't decide whether to watch each one as it comes out or binge watch the entire series later.

I would find it hard to binge watch something like this. In fact, I find it hard to watch all 90 minutes at one setting...... watching how history repeats itself while millions die is not easy.

Good point, Dave. And one I had not even considered.

I'm watching it on the computer. Free streaming without any interruption direct from PBS. I started too late tonight to finish episode 2. I'll try to catch up tomorrow.

Watched the second episode. Pretty good. I like Peter Coyote's narration.

Looking back now, I wonder if the fact that Madame Nhu was in America at the time of the coup was a coincidence or if it was planned. I can't help but think she or somebody knew what was coming.

Episode 2 brought back a lot of memories. So far I think "Vietnam" is excellent.

Watched #1 on line and fell asleep during #2 on the TV. Ken Burns cure for sleeplessness.
