I have a co-worker that served on a U.S. Coast Guard rescue cutter and I really enjoy the stories that he shares about his experiences during his service.

I also really appreciate the spirit of the men and women that volunteer to do what they do.

Any one who has a boat on the water should be thankful that there are people that are willing to risk their lives to save yours.

This VIDEO is a good example of what they are willing to face.

I thank them for doing it.

Thanks for sharing that. I can't believe that I did not as it is such a iconic video. It is one of the reasons that I use Shell gasoline.

The reasons are:

I am an Formula One fan.

It is considered a "Top Tier" gasoline and recommended by lots of high end manufacturers like Ferrari, Porsche, Corvette etc.

My personal experience after doing the math was that I got better gas mileage with Shell than discount gasoline that made it less expensive in the long run.

In my humble opinion, unlike Exxon that tried to weasel out of there responsibility after the Exxon Valdez fiasco. When Shell was going to scuttle a rig in the north sea they reacted to popular opinion and did the "right thing" by dismantling it piece by piece rather that scuttling it.
