I have to say a cop who chases a bike up a breakdown lane is an absolute a$$.
At 1:35 when he dives to the breakdown lane he has no visibility for obstructions etc.
He was not preserving the peace, he was exercising his ego.

I thought he went over the top when he was passing car after car on the shoulder. The kid on the bike claimed he was doing up to 160 mph. The danger that trooper put all those other cars in blows my mind but for his boss to say it was the right thing to do makes even less sense to me. WTF. To me he was just as stupid as the 20 year old he was chasing. I sent the link to a retired Lt and former trooper who's a good friend. I'm really interested in his take on it.

I just remembered this VIDEO from a few years ago. Anyone that has ever seen the IMAX movie To Fly at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum in Washington DC will recognize the tune as Pachelbel's Canon in D. But you have probably never hear it played like this by this teenaged Korean guitar player.

I remember that guitar player, I wonder whatever became of him?

This VIDEO is a preview of the American version of the long running BBC show Top Gear.

I personally don't think that it will "hold a candle" to the original. But, that remains to be seen. Only time and it's ratings will tell.

^^^^ Gene,

I really dislike things that are not intuitive.

I have reached a stage in my life where I am starting to feel out of touch with technology because I do not feel the need to stay permanently connected to everyone within my circle.

For example, we have a friend of ours that "sucked" us into Facebook. I created an account that I rarely log in to because I have no need or desire to know what she ate for breakfast or lunch today or that she did laundry. I just don't get it?

This AP2 tribute video is a tribute to just how safe the little car that we love is.

I have to assume that the person that posted this walked away relatively unhurt from this crash.

I am reminded constantly how simple life was when I drive my 1997 Ford F150 truck. Light switch on the dash - three modes: off, parking lights, headlights. Radio - on/off button with all the simplicity of the day. Clock- up or down to change time for bi-annual daylight saving changs.

Fast forward to my Audi A6... OMG, how does any of this stuff work! Where's the damn manual.

However, somethings do improve. 1st cell phone...bad. 2nd cell phone.... much easier to travel in.

This VIDEO should make the guys at "Tool Time" take notice.

I wonder what he used for tires?
Matt, that really made me grin. Talk about low budget fun! I may have to invest in a "rider" now that I am "getting on in years."

Those who thought the lawnmower was cool owe it to themselves to rent "The World's Fastest Indian", a really charming and funny film. IMDB it for details.
